The LANCOM R&S®UF-T60 unifed firewall has a 5-pin GPIO terminal block connector on the front panel that can be used to activate or deactivate OpenVPN connections configured in the device.
The entire OpenVPN service of the Unifed Firewall is enabled or disabled. Therefore, it is not possible to switch selected OpenVPN connections. |
This document describes how the GPIO terminal block connector is connected and gives a connection example.

Function:
As soon as 0.8 V or less is applied to the GPI, the status of the GPI changes from "HIGH" to "LOW". The OpenVPN service in the UF is deactivated and GPO is switched from "HIGH" to "LOW".
As soon as 2 V or more is applied to the GPI, the status of the GPI changes to "HIGH", the OpenVPN service in the UF is activated and GPO is switched to "HIGH".
If nothing is connected to the GPI, the status of the GPI is "HIGH".

A switch (e.g. a key switch) is used here to enable or disable OpenVPN connections.
