Description:
If the program LANconfig is unable to set the time & date manually on a LANCOM router (Device -> Set date/time...), it may be that the TFTP protocol has been blocked in the access rights on the LANCOM router.
This document describes how you can enable the TFTP protocol so that you can set the time & date manually.

Requirements:

Procedure:
1) In LANconfig, open the configuration for the LANCOM router and switch to the menu item Management → Admin.
2) In the field Configuration access ways you can adjust the access rights for the LAN interface and for remote networks (WAN interface).
3) Open the access rights configuration dialog and change the access rights for the TFTP protocol to allowed.
4) Close the configuration dialog with the OK button and write the configuration back to the LANCOM router.
5) It should now be possible to set the time & date without problem.

Procedure with WEBconfig:
1) In WEBconfig, open the LANCOM router's configuration and navigate to the menu item Configuration → Management → Admin → Access rights - protocols.

2) The Access rights – protocols section is used to adjust the access rights for the local network and for remote networks.

4) Click on the button Send to write back to the change back to the LANCOM router.
