Description:
This document describes how to configure the IPv4 and IPv6 firewall settings for LANCOM Content Filter.

Requirements:

Procedure:
1) IPv4 firewall:
1.1) The firewall needs to be activated in order for the LANCOM Content Filter to function. You enable the IPv4 firewall in the menu Firewall/QoS → General by using the option IPv4 firewall/QoS enabled.
1.2) A firewall rule must use a special action object that is linked to a content filter profile.
You can find the action object and the firewall rules under Firewall/QoS → IPv4 Rules.
1.3) In the default settings, the default action objects are located under Action objects.
  • CONTENT-FILTER-BASIC
  • CONTENT-FILTER-WORK

These default action objects each use the default content filter profiles that are defined in the content filter configuration in the menu Content Filter → Profiles → Profile.
