This document contains information regarding the pin assignment of a Twin adapter to connect two analog telephones to one analog jack for the 1793x series and the 883+ VoIP (also R883+) for self-assembly.
Please note, that a defect which was caused by using an incorrectly wired self manufactured cable/adapter is not covered by our General Warranty Conditions.
The inner two pins are connected to the pins a/b of the first line and the outer two pins are connected to the pins a/b of the second line.
Only the inner pair of wires are connected on the analog cables, which go to the telephone.
If only one telephone should be connected to the router, the Twin adapter is not necessary.
