Description: This document describes the connection parameters for establishing a configuration / CLI connection via the serial interface of a LANCOM device.
Procedure: Establish a connection between the LANCOM device and the configuration computer via the serial configuration cable. Start a terminal program on the configuration computer, e.g. PuTTY (download).
Use the following connection parameters:
LANCOM Router & Access-Points: - Baudrate: 115200
- Stop Bits: 1
- Data Bits: 8
- Parity: N
- Flow control: RTS/CTS
LANCOM Switches: - Baudrate: 115200
- Stop Bits: 1
- Data Bits: 8
- Parity: N
- Flow control: none
LANCOM Unified Firewalls: - Baudrate: 9600
- Stop Bits: 1
- Data Bits: 8
- Parity: N
- Flow control: none
