This document describes the procedure in case LANmonitor reports no charging information.


This message may appear after disconnecting an ISDN connection in LANmonitor. You can clear this error message by right-clicking on it and selecting clear error.

There are several causes for this error message:
  • If the router connects to a provider with a nationwide uniform number (e.g. land line), it is unlikely that the provider transmits charge-advice signals.
  • Smaller local providers with location-dependent telephone numbers may transmit charging signals in some cases.

One way to avoid seeing this message is simply to deactivate the evaluation of the charge information.

The necessary configuration item is to be found in LANconfig under Configuration -> Management -> Costs.

In the field Charge and time monitoring you can simply set the value for the respective charge limit to 0.
