Problem:
After updating to the latest firmware version, an attempt to use LANconfig to access the configuration produces one of two error messages, either:
The device 'xyz' with firmware version ... is not yet supported by this version of your program
or
No configuration description available for the device 'xyz' with the firmware version ...
Solution:
This error occurs if you have uploaded new firmware into the device but are using an old LANconfig version (Help -> About...), which cannot read the new descriptions in the firmware. Make sure that you are using the current version of LANconfig (LANtools):
