Convert to unicastYesDHCP packets cannot be converted by LCOS LX. Therefore with the setting DHCP the Unicast conversion in LCOS LX is deactivated and with DHCP and multicast only Multicast packets are converted to Unicast.
Transmit only Unicasts NoBroadcast packets cannot be discarded by an LCOS LX access point.
U-APSDActive permanently
Encrypt mgmt framesYes

WLAN Controller → Profiles → Physical WLAN parametersCountry settingYes
2,4 GHz modeYesIf a setting is selected, which is not supported by the access point (e.g. 802.11ax in combination with an LW-500), a profile error will be displayed and the WiFi won't be broadcasted on the affected access point.
5 GHz modeYesIf a setting is selected, which is not supported by the access point (e.g. 802.11ax in combination with an LW-500), a profile error will be displayed and the WiFi won't be broadcasted on the affected access point.
5 GHz Sub-bandsYes
DTIM periodNoIn LCOS LX the DTIM period is set to the fixed value 1.
Background scan interval No
Antenna gainYes
Tx power reductionYesLCOS LX always calculates the reduction coming from a base transmit power of 30 dB. As a result this leads to the following constellations for the different frequency bands and the sub-bands in 5 Ghz mode:
  • 2,4 Ghz with 20 dB allowed transmit power:
A value of 20 dB has to be entered for Tx power reduction of 10 dB.
  • 5 Ghz sub-band 1 with 23 dB allowed transmit power:
A value of 10 dB has to be entered for Tx power reduction of 3 dB.
  • 5 Ghz sub-band 2 with 30 dB allowed transmit power:
No calculation is needed. Entering a value of 5 dB also leads to a TX power reduction of 5 dB.

Activate the VLAN module-Activating the VLAN module in LCOS LX is not necessary and doesn't have any impact.
ARC: Client SteeringYesLCOS LX only supports AP based band steering. When using the options On and Client management the mode AP based band steering is usedin LCOS LX.
ARC: Adaptive RF OptimizationNo
