Specific requirements for certain topics:

ePaper:

• Bei Verbindungs-Problemen zwischen dem ePaper Access Point und dem ePaper-Server sind die IP-Adressen des Access Points und des Servers zur Analyse erforderlichWhen connections problems between an ePaper access point and the ePaper server occur, the IP addresses of the access point and the server are necessary for analysis.

VPN:

• Handelt es sich um eine VPN-Verbindung zwischen zwei LANCOM Routern, müssen die Traces zeitgleich auf beiden Routern erstellt werden. 
• Die Traces müssen jeweils lokal erstellt werden und nicht über die VPN-Verbindung, da bei einem Verbindungsabbruch ansonsten wichtige Informationen verloren gehen!
• Sofern auf dem Router mehrere VPN-Verbindungen terminiert werden, muss der VPN-IKE Trace in dem Feld Filter auf die öffentliche IP-Adresse des anderen VPN-Teilnehmers gefiltert werden.

VoIP:

• If the VPN connection is between two LANCOM routers, the traces have to be recorded on both routers at the same time. 
• The traces have to be recorded locally and not via the VPN connection as otherwise important information would be lost after a disconnect of the VPN connection!
• If multiple VPN connections are established on a router, the VPN-IKE trace has to be filtered to the public IP address of the other VPN member.

VoIP:

• The involved telephone numbers have to noted, so that the trace analysis can be focused on these. 
• When the following problems occur an additional Wireshark trace has to be recorded of the Internet connection as well as from the local network, where the SIP user is located. The procedure is described in this Knowledge Base article.

• Die betroffenen Rufnummern müssen notiert werden, damit im Trace gezielt danach gesucht werden kann.
Bei den folgenden Problemen muss zusätzlich zu den Traces auf dem Router je ein Wireshark-Trace der Internet-Verbindung und des lokalen Netzwerks, in dem sich der SIP-Teilnehmer befindet, erstellt werden. Die Vorgehensweise ist in diesem Knowledge Base Artikel beschrieben.

WLAN:

• Lässt sich das Verhalten nicht auf einen Access Point eingrenzen, müssen die Traces auf allen möglicherweise betroffenen Access Points erstellt werden.
• Die MAC-Adresse des betroffenen WLAN-Endgerätes muss als Trace-MAC hinterlegt werden. Dadurch werden die WLAN-Traces in Hardware auf die MAC-Adresse gefiltert. 
• Für die Trace-Analyse ist die MAC-Adresse des betroffenen WLAN-Endgerätes erforderlich.

WLAN-Controller Szenario:

• If the behaviour cannot be narrowed down to a single access point, the traces have to be recorded on all of the potentially affected access points. 
• The MAC address of the affected WiFi device has to be entered as the Trace MAC.
• The MAC address of the affected WiFi device is necessary for the trace analysis.

WLAN Controller Scenario:

• The traces have to be recorded on the WLAN Controller and an affected access point at the same time in the error state.
• The CAPWAP-CTRL trace on the WLAN Controller has to be filtered to the IP address of an affected access point, so that the trace output is limited to this specific access point
• Traces müssen zeitgleich auf dem WLAN-Controller und einem betroffenen Access Point im Fehlerfall erstellt werden.
• Auf dem WLAN-Controller muss der CAPWAP-CTRL Trace auf die IP-Adresse eines betroffenen Access Points gefiltert werden, damit die Trace-Ausgaben auf diesen Access Point beschränkt werden.
