Description:

In diesem Artikel wird beschrieben, welcher Konfigurations-Punkt auf einem ePaper Access Point mit LCOS ab Version 10.40 überprüft werden kann, wenn in der ePaper Status-Tabelle auf der Konsole des Access Points bei Network-Status die Fehlermeldung Outbound-Rejected ausgegeben wird (bzw. Netzwerk-Status: Ausgehend-Abgelehnt in WEBconfig). Dies hat zur Folge, dass der ePaper-Server keine Verbindung zum ePaper Access Point aufbauen kann.

This article describes which configuration item has to be checked on an ePaper access point with LCOS as of version 10.40, when the error message Network Status: Outbound-Rejected is displayed on the CLI and in WEBconfig. Thus the ePaper server cannot establish a connection to the ePaper access point.

Requirements:

  • LCOS ab Version as of version 10.40 (download aktuelle Versionlatest version)

  • Eingerichteter und funktionsfähiger ePaper-Server
  • Configured and functional ePaper server
  • ePaper access pointePaper Access Point


Procedure:

1. Öffnen Sie die Konfiguration des betroffenen ePaper Access Points in LANconfig, wechseln in das Menü ) Open the configuraton of the affected ePaper access point in LANconfig, go to the menu IoT → Wireless ePaper und prüfen, ob bei Adresse die IP-Adresse des ePaper-Servers hinterlegt ist. In diesem Beispiel ist dies der Fall and check, if the IP address of the ePaper server has been entered in the field Address. In this example this is the case. 

2. Sollte bei Adresse die IP-Adresse des ePaper-Servers hinterlegt sein, muss diese gelöscht werden, sodass der Eintrag leer ist) If the IP address of the ePaper server has been entered in the field Address it has to be deleted, so that the field is empty.

Wird die IP-Adresse des ePaper-Servers bei Adresse hinterlegt, wird die Betriebsart des Access Points von Inbound (ePaper-Server stellt Anfragen an den Access Point) auf Outbound (Access Point stellt Anfragen an den epaper-Server) umgestellt. Dadurch hört der Access Point nicht mehr auf eingehende Anfragen auf Port 7353, sondern sendet ausgehend auf Port If the IP address of the ePaper server is entered in the field Address, the operating mode of the access point is changed from Inbound (ePaper server sends requests to the access point) to Outbound (the access point sends requests to the ePaper server). Therefore the access point doesn't listen to incoming packets on port 7353 anymore but sends packets on port 7454.
