Information: When operating PoE-powered LANCOM access points at PoE switches from other manufacturers (e.g. HP, Extreme Networks), the switches occasionally do not recognize the PoE power required by the access points, which then have to operate with reduced power. For example, 802.3at-enabled LANCOM access points (e.g. L-1302acn, L-1310acn) operate with the PoE class 802.3af instead of using 802.3at (PoE+). overview of PoE classes- is available in the following Knowledge Base document
