Description:
The default setting for recent Mac OS X systems only allows the installation of applications from the App Store or verified developers. For this reason you may have problems when installing the LANCOM Advanced VPN Client.
This document describes a workaround to solve the problem.

Procedure:
To be able to install the LANCOM Advanced VPN Client, the Security & Privacy setting of the Mac OS X system must be changed to remove the limitations on the source for downloading apps. You only need to change the security settings in order to carry out the installation. You can restore the original values afterwards.
1) In the System Preferences, select the Security & Privacy settings.
2) On the General tab, change the option Allow apps downloaded from to Anywhere.
Information:
If the settings are grayed out, you have to unlock them first using the padlock icon.
3) After installing the LANCOM Advanced VPN Client you can reactivate the original security setting.
