Error: A LANCOM device of type R88x is to be paired with the LANCOM Management Cloud (LMC) with the help of LANconfig. However, the process does not complete and the pairing state is stuck at “Pairing initiated”.
Cause: By default, devices of the R88x series have the SSH protocol disabled. For this reason, LANconfig is unable to send the command required for pairing to the device by means of the SSH protocol.
Solution: 1) Open the configuration for the device in LANconfig and switch to the menu item Management → Admin → Ports. 2) Activate the SSH protocol. 3) Write the configuration back to the LANCOM router. It is now possible to pair with the LANCOM Management Cloud. |
