Description:

During the pairing process of a LANCOM device with the LANCOM Management Cloud (LMC) an existing configuration will be transferred into the LMC. For access points and routers with LCOS as well as XS and GS-45xx series switches (as of LCOS SX 5.20 Rel) it is also possible to transfer configuration changes made via WEBconfig or LANconfig into the LMC. This is practical as some configuration items cannot be configured via the LMC. However with the default setting configuration changes are only logged in the LMC but not transferred.

This article describes how configuration changes can be transferred into the LMC.

If a configuration item is modified, which is also configured by the LMC (e.g. the management VLAN on a switch), the device state Outdated is displayed. When the configuration is rolled out the next time, the configuration change is overwritten by the LMC.

Procedure:

1) Connect to the LMC, switch to the menu Project specifications and click on the menu item Basic.

2) For Configuration select the option Apply to the LMC and click Save.
