Information:

Starting with LCOS version 9.20 RU4 and 9.24. RU1, there are two separate parameters in the menu under Management -> Admin -> Access settings -> Access rights for SNMPv2 and SNMPv3.



Notice:

The access rights for SNMPv1 and SNMPv2 from a WAN interface are automatically deactivated after a firmware update to 9.20 RU4 or 9.24 RU1.

LANCOM generally recommends SNMPv3 for monitoring via an unsafe connection (for example Internet without additional VPN tunnels).

The settings for SNMP before the firmware update are transferred to the SNMPv3 settings.
