This document describes what happens when a LANCOM VDSL router with Vectoring support is operated on a Super Vectoring line.
Super Vectoring extends the available frequency range from 17 Mhz to 35 Mhz.
The providers’ infrastructure (MSAN) is backwards compatible with Vectoring. If a VDSL router with Vectoring support is operated on a Super Vectoring line, the only part of the frequency range that cannot be used is the new extended portion.
A VDSL router with Vectoring support still provides the maximum data rate that the VDSL modem is capable of supporting (100 Mbps).
- All LANCOM 178x series routers are capable of Vectoring and therefore operate on Super Vectoring lines with a maximum data rate of 100 Mbps.

- The LANCOM routers of the 179x series due for release in Q4/2018 have a Super Vectoring-enabled xDSL modem and therefore operate without restriction on Super Vectoring lines.
