In the LANCOM Management Cloud it can happen that the system independently generates a large amount of codes in the activation code list (Menu Devices → Activation codes).

The independently generated codes, however, are not new activation codes, but rather so-called renew tokens, which are used by the LMC to renew certificates. These codes cannot be used to connect a LANCOM device to the LMC.

If the activation code list contains more than 100 entries, no new activation codes can be added manually by the user due to a database restriction.

The pairing of the devices via the LMC pin is not affected.

What can be done to fix the behavior?

Manually delete all or some codes from the list so that you can manually generate new activation codes yourself.

The behavior will be fixed in the upcoming version of the LMC.
