To find out which version of the LANCOM Advanced VPN Client you are currently using, navigate to the menu
Help -> License data and activation:
If you have not installed the software, please send the 8-digit serial number of your license (beginning with 210, 211, 212 or 213)
to the LANCOM Support for a version check.
Requirements: - Licensed LANCOM Advanced VPN Client
- Paid upgrade license for the LANCOM Advanced VPN Client (item no. 61603)
Upgrade licenses are available exclusively from specialist resellers or distributors . It is not possible to source a license from LANCOM Systems directly.
Procedure: 1) In order to perform the license upgrade, you need the
8-digit serial number of your license and your license key together with the
15-character alphanumeric upgrade key (in the form
XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX).
2) Access the
LANCOM website where you can perform the license upgrade. Use the following link:
https://www.lancom-systems.com/service-support/registrations/software/update/ 3) Enter the
8-digit serial number of your license along with the license key and the 15-character upgrade key into the text fields of the upgrade form, and then click
Send.
4) You will then receive a
new, 20-character license key in the form XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.

Make a note of this new license key. You use the 8-digit serial number of your license together with the new license key to activate your LANCOM Advanced VPN Client.
